Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

You deliver one-to-one ABA therapy to children in their own homes and communities, following a treatment plan written by a BCBA. You are the one who sees what actually happens day to day — which is why your observations carry weight here, and why data from your sessions drives what changes next.

• RBT certification through the BACB — or the willingness to earn it, which we support
• The BACB route is a 40-hour training, a competency assessment and the RBT exam
• High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation, since sessions are in families’ homes and communities
• Ability to pass a background check
• Patience, and the kind of consistency a child can rely on

• Deliver 1:1 therapy following the BCBA’s treatment plan
• Collect data every session — it is what the clinical decisions rest on
• Support and coach parents in the moment, in their own home
• Raise what you are seeing with your supervising BCBA, including when something is not working
• Keep every family’s information confidential

Caseloads are built around the availability you tell us about at interview, so bring your real constraints rather than the ones you think we want to hear. Sessions happen in families’ homes and communities, which means after-school hours are usually the ones in demand.

Across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex — Dallas, Mesquite, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill and Princeton, plus surrounding DFW communities. We try to build caseloads that cluster geographically, because an hour in the car is an hour not spent with a child.

If you want to become a BCBA, say so at interview. We offer supervision toward certification and a CEU stipend, and the pathway is a real one here rather than a line in a job ad.
